Computational NeuroSurgery (CNS) Lab

Computational NeuroSurgery LabIn our lab, we apply advanced computational modelling (e.g., fractal-based analysis, Artificial Intelligence, radiomics and advanced image analysis) to the study of brain diseases of neurosurgical interest, namely brain tumours and cerebrovascular diseases, among others. Interdisciplinary collaborations among computer scientists, mathematicians, cognitive neuroscientists, engineers and clinical neuroscientists make our lab an innovative hub of research.

The Computational NeuroSurgery (CNS) Lab is supported by Macquarie University, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Macquarie Neurosurgery, and Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS, John Mitchell Crouch Fellowship, 2019 awarded to Prof. Di Ieva)
